Strata Manager Issues

Pacific Quorum Properties Inc. made Don Nichol the property manager of Eastin Condos effective July 2, 2025 (transfer notice).

The BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) had suspended his licence for one year and imposed a $30,000 penalty for professional misconduct, and the BCFSA licensee register shows his licence took effect only on August 6, 2025. BCFSA has stated that he was not licensed while providing strata management services to this strata corporation until that date.

During that period he attended the July 17, 2025 council meeting as property manager, and the minutes were submitted under his name.

This is unacceptable and unprofessional service from Pacific Quorum.

BCFSA confirmed this by email on October 9, 2026, and advised filing a complaint to bring the matter to its Compliance team:
